Eng -Indian Long Pepper  ,Hindi – Pipara\Pipli \Pippali  , Malayalam -Kattuthipilli ,Tippali , Telugu  – Pippalu\ Pippali                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Thippili is the dried fruit of Piper longum and obtained from a flowering vine with large flowers. It is considered as a spice and seasoning.

Uses:  It is used as  treating depression , weight loss all kinds of inflammation  and diabetes  ,it as a Anti- Oxidant  ,microbial , Analgesic .

Part Used  :Dried Unripe berries  or  Spikes of long pepper  .
