Description

Sans- Vacha; Shadgranthagolomi; Ugragranthi; Jatila, Eng- Sweetflag, Hind & Ben- bach; Gora bach, Pers- Agri-turki, Duk- Vach, Guj- Godavaj, Bom- Vaj, Mah- Vekhand, Tel- Vasa, Tam- Vashambu, Can- Baje, Mal- Vayambhu, Kon- Ekhanda.
Pert Used: Dried rhizome                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Uses: it is useful in dyspepsia,flatulence,loss of appetite etc, and also in atonic and choleriac diarrhoea of children; as antiperiodic it is given in tertian fevers. It is also beneficial in hysteria and neuralgia. A liquorice  root is administered in cases of cough, fever, capillary bronchitis, colic, etc especially in children.Take equal parts of  acorus  calamus root, asafoetida, long pepper, black pepper, ginger, chebulic myrobalan sonchal salt .
