Description

Kaarbhoga Arisi  is a cereal grain grown in India and Africa. It is a nutritious option for people with diabetes or insulin resistance.

Sans- Vakuchi; Sugandha Kantak; Somaraji; Krishnaphala, Eng- Babchi seeds, Hind- Babchi; Bhavaj, Ben- Latakadturi; Bavachi; Hakuchi, Bom- Bawachi; Bobawachi, Mah- Bavavchi Bavchi, Tel- Bavanchalu; Bhavanchi- vittulu; Bogi- vittulu; Karu- bogi, Tam- Karpokarishi, Pers- Vabkuchi.

Uses: Seeds are useful in bilious affections and are also used to make perfumed oil and its powder is used as leprosy and leucoderma. Seeds are used as snake-bite, scorpion- sting, leucoderma and other skin diseases.  The oil is used as changes white skin, grey hair, rough, rough, scaly, discoloured skin ,nails and hair to normal colour.
