Description

Jadhikai is also known as Nut-meg. To treat diarrhea, for hair, for sleep and  foe infants.

Uses.- This valuable spice consists of the dired kernels of the seeds. They are largely employed as a flavouring agent and condiment. A compound power  made of nutmeg and dry dinger each five grains and caraway 10grains is a good carminative taken before meals. It can also be safely administered in delirium tremens, ininsomnia, where opium has failed an chloral is contra-indicated,and may also be used as carminative during convalescence after diarrhoea etc.
