Uses.-Plant and dired spiny fruits are used in decoction or infusion in cases of spermatorrhoea,phosphaturia,diseases of the genito-urinary system such dysuria,ganorrhoea,gleet,chronic cystitis,calculous affections,urinary disorders,incontinence of urine,gout and impotence.
Water rendered mucilaginous by the plant is drunk as a remedy for impotence and an infusion of the stem is administered in gonorrhoea. Uses.- This is a popular remedy forcough, coryza, hayasthma, bronchinal affectiona and diseases of the respiratory passages generally, also given for worms, bowel-complaints and as paste with sugar in gonorrhoea and other venereal disases.
It should be given after meals.It has been found by me very beneficial in cases of asthma etc.

Uses: The leaves, flowers, fruits and roots of adathoda are used to cure various diseases such as coughs, colds, asthma, skin infections, fever, bleeding piles and inflammation etc.
