Sans – Kirata- tikita: Bhunimba: Jwaran- thakah, Eng- Chiretta , Hind- Kiryat- Charayatah, Arab- Qasabuz-Zarirah, Ben- Mahatita: Chireta, Tam -Nila- vembu , Bom- Chiraita, Guj, Mah, & Duk, Tel- Nila-vemu., Mal- Kiriyattu.

Uses: An infusion of the  drug  and all the stomachic, tonic, and anti-diar-rhoetic   which are ascribed to gentian and in a greater  degree  than they are generally found in stale . chiretta  is used   in scorpion  sting also.Nilavembu Kudineer relieves body ache, fatigue, headache, energy loss, joint pain, muscle ache, and inflammation associated with fever or pyrexia.

  2. Exerts anodyne action and gives relief from body ache and pain
